About

This is the personal website and travel blog of Daniel Carabellese.

I hold a combined Honours Bachelor of Psychology and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Adelaide, where I’m currently pursuing a Combined Ph.D./Master of Clinical Psychology. My interests include psychology, natural history, photography, teaching and all things French.

In 2014 I was lucky enough to be selected as a Language Assistant for the Académie de Clermont-Ferrand in central France. I worked for eight months in the town of Moulins with middle and high school students aged 10-18.

  1. Hello Daniel, I’ve come accross your while trying to complete one of my assignments on blogging (I’ve signed in for a Blogging 101 on wordpress platform). I’m glad you loved Paris despite the eerie and distrust atmosphere you found at the beginning of January. Those were really difficult days for all of us.
Paris is a wonderful city, I’ve been living here for the last 15 years and I am sure I’ve not yet discovered more than 20% of its possibilities ! It seems a bit like London. Your blog talks of wanderings and travelling juste like mine, tha’ts why I stopped here !
I have discovered you published a post on Amsterdam. I’ll have a look just now because I have planned to visit this city in April. Thanks !
